Privacy Policy

EMS Metrics, LLC ("EMS Metrics," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at www.emsmetrics.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

This Policy covers the Site only. Use of the EMS Metrics software platform, including FireTower and its modules (together, the "Platform"), is governed by the agreement between EMS Metrics and the customer agency, which controls how Platform data is handled.

1. Information you give us

When you request a demo, start a trial, or ask about pricing, we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, work email address, phone number, agency or organization, agency type, approximate number of vehicles, the product you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field. We also keep records of your correspondence with us by email or phone.

Please do not include protected health information, patient details, or other sensitive personal information in the contact form or in emails to us. The Site is not designed to receive it.

2. Information collected automatically

• Log and device data. As with most websites, our hosting provider records information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, and the page that referred you.
• Campaign tags. If you arrive from a link that includes campaign parameters (for example, from an email or an advertisement), the Site stores those parameters in your browser's session storage so that, if you submit the contact form, we know which campaign brought you here. These values are cleared when you close your browser.
• Spam protection. The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends it to Google to determine whether a submission is automated. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

3. How we use information

• To respond to your inquiry, schedule and conduct demos, and set up trials.
• To send you information about EMS Metrics products, pricing, and updates that we believe will interest you. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time (see section 8).
• To understand how the Site is used and to improve its content and performance.
• To protect the Site and our business, including preventing spam and abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses a small amount of browser storage for the functions described in section 2. We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site; if we do, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device type, and Google processes that information under its own privacy policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only as follows:

• Service providers. We use third-party services to run the Site and our business, including Salesforce (where contact-form submissions are stored and managed as sales leads), Google (reCAPTCHA and, if enabled, Google Analytics), our website hosting and email providers, and Freshservice (our customer support portal). These providers may process your information only to provide services to us.
• Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
• Business transfers. If EMS Metrics is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
• With your consent or at your direction.

6. Data retention

We keep contact-form submissions and correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you, to maintain our sales and customer records, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Log data is retained by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see section 8), subject to records we are required to keep.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

• Marketing. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any message or by emailing admin@emsmetrics.com. We may still send you non-marketing messages, such as responses to your inquiry.
• Access, correction, and deletion. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by contacting us as described in section 12. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the time required by applicable law.
• State privacy rights. Residents of certain states have additional rights under state privacy laws, which may include the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, contact us as described in section 12.

9. Protected health information

The Site does not request, and is not intended to receive, protected health information as defined under HIPAA. Where the Platform is used by a customer agency to handle protected health information, that handling is governed by the customer's agreement with EMS Metrics and by applicable law, not by this Policy.

10. Children

The Site is intended for EMS agencies and professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party sites and services

The Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including our Facebook page, LinkedIn profiles, the Freshservice support portal, and the Platform login. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for EMS agencies in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.
