Started in 2011 by a paramedic tired of clipboards. John founded it; Bryan joined in 2016. The two of us still build and support it.
Founded by a paramedic. Rig checks and inventory.
Bryan joins to build the software.
FireTower goes into service, starting with dispatch.
50,000+ rig checks logged. 100,000+ trips dispatched.
The goal in 2011: replace paper rig checks with something crews would actually use. Everything since grew out of that first rig-check and inventory platform.
In 2020 we launched FireTower, starting with dispatch: CAD, GPS, crew texting, 911 integration, and ePCR integrations with ZOLL emsCharts and HealthEMS.
Today every module runs in FireTower, on one login. HIPAA compliance and security come first.
We keep Base affordable on purpose, so a volunteer squad can run FireTower too.
No sales floor, no layers. When you call, you reach the people who built it.
More than 15 years in EMS, as a paramedic and an ambulance operations supervisor, then nine years running ePCR programs and NEMSIS integrations across multiple agencies.
